A beautiful fresh bouquet, a colourful dried bouquet or an impressive art bouquet: can you easily choose?
You want to send flowers to someone special or maybe you want to treat yourself to a beautiful (dried) bouquet. Either way, you need to make an important decision before you go shopping. Do you want fresh flowers, a dry bouquet, or an art piece? Each has its own pros and cons, which is why it is important to understand what you need before you choose blindly.
Fresh flowers
Nothing beats the beauty and scent of a bouquet of fresh flowers. When you receive the flowers, you will probably notice that some flowers are almost completely open, while others are just starting to open. This is perfect because it means your bouquet will last much longer. Fresh flowers are real, so you never have to worry about them looking fake. One drawback is that they eventually decay and you have to take care of them by cutting off stems, changing water and removing dying plant material.
Dry flowers
Given the nature of dried flowers, you don't have to worry about watering or trimming the stems. They can be placed in any vase and will sparkle in your home for a long time. The only maintenance is keeping the dried flower bouquet dust-free. Besides the great advantage that dried flowers can stay for a long time, you can have these flowers in really any colour (everything can be dyed). So you can put together the most colourful, beautiful dried flower bouquets that completely fit your home. One drawback is that some dried flowers compromise a little on colour and shape. Not every dried flower is logically as beautiful as the fresh variety. On the other hand, these flowers contain no pollen and are therefore perfect for people with allergies.

Artificial flowers
Like dried flowers, artificial flowers don't require much maintenance. They need to be dusted and kept out of direct sun (although you also have UV-resistant silk flowers), but they can also be very versatile. They are great for anyone with allergies and come in a wide variety of colours and sizes. The only downside is that artificial flowers can cost quite a bit. There are cheaper varieties, but they usually look cheap. Quality flowers, such as silk flowers, cost a little more, but it is always worth spending a little more if you want your bouquet to leave a lasting positive impression. They don't have sweet scents, but that's a problem that can easily be solved with a little potpourri or scented candles.
