All Cheetah vases in our webshop are exclusive, mouth-blown vases. Blowing glass by mouth is a fascinating and time-consuming process. With mouth-blown vases, a burner is used to get the glass to a certain temperature. When the glass gets hot enough, blowing begins. With the mouth, air is blown into glass/vase to determine the shape of the vase. In this way, any shape is possible. During spraying, glass shards and cullet are added to the sphere. Glass shards and cullet form cheetah-like spots on the vase, is in fact: glass on top of glass. The glass, which are used for the cheetah-like stains, is thus given a new purpose. Everything is used, so the Cheetah vases are produced environmentally consciously. Because of the process, any shape/colour is possible.
