Sowing instruction:Â This annual sleeping globe is closely related to blue moon seed and opium poppy, but is a cultivated form that has ornamental value only. It is also a very pretty bloomer, especially in these filled forms in numerous warm soft shades. The plants like to be sunny and grow 50 cm tall. You can also dry the spent sleeping bulbs excellently!
Sowing: Annual poppies are difficult to transplant. Therefore sow directly in the spot where you want them (in moist soil). Do this from the end of March until June. Cover the seed with ¼ cm of soil and press lightly. Do not sow thickly (close together). Keep the sowing soil moist. After emergence thin out (remove excess plants) until the remaining plants are 15 x 15 cm. By sowing several times in succession, you will have longer flowering plants. Water regularly.
Flowering: depending on sowing time, from mid-June onwards.
IMPORTANT: On the seed packaging you will find the correct sowing instructions, so you can enjoy a quality flower.
