Sowing instructions: Nigellas are the well-known annual Misses-in-the-Green. This mixture in soft pastel shades looks great in the border. For drying, both the seed pods and the flowers can be used. Height 50 cm.
Sow: from mid April to the end of May, directly in the garden in the final spot. Sow widely on moistened soil. After sowing, apply a top layer (3/4 cm) of soil over the seed and press lightly. Transplanting does not work very well afterwards, so do not sow too thickly (do not sow seeds too close together). After emergence, thin out if necessary (remove the excess plants). The plants
should eventually be 10 cm apart. Water regularly.
Flowering: from July into September.
Drying: The flowers in full bloom and/or the seed pods that
remain on the plant after flowering. Pick them with stem and hang them
upside down in a dark, airy place to dry.
