Sowing instruction: Large plants grow out (160 cm and above) bearing heavy flower clusters in a range of the most fantastic shades: blue, lilac, pink, purple, white and mixed colours in between. The flower clusters need to be supported, otherwise they easily blow over. Wonderful in the border and a good cut flower.
Sow: from April to July in a seedbed in the garden. Above all do not sow too thickly in moist seed soil. Cover the seedling with 1/2 cm of soil and press lightly. During the germination period
Keep moist regularly. The seed germinates irregularly. Plant out from mid-May in the final positions. Spacing between plants is 30 cm. If sown early, they flower in the first year. The heavy flower clusters should be supported, e.g. with a couple of canes near the outer flower stems and tie them on.
Flowering: June-July.
